Dorothy Zagar (nee Beno) peacefully entered into Eternal Life on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the age of 92. Loving Mom of James (Jimmy) (Patty) Bettendorf. Beloved Grandma of Parker (Bridey) Bettendorf, Carson Bettendorf, Kay Bettendorf and Lucas Bettendorf. Dear Sister of Mary Niederfler. Preceded in death by her husband Frank and ten of her siblings.

A special thank you to the staff at Riverview Village Senior Living for their loving and patient care of Dorothy.

Dorothy was my favorite aunt. When growing up she would often babysit for me and my brothers and sisters,we were a bunch (5) but she controlled us. After adolescence I became even fonder of her. She had a smile and laugh that would put any one at ease. Often visiting her at the bar she owned. My favorite time was taking my three 3 "D's" (Dorothy,Dorothy&Diane) to visit my bro Don UP NORTH. I am very sad about this but due to health issues (covid) I will not make the funeral. you will be missed, but, NOT FORGOTEN
