Our beloved “Aunt Dorothy” (Dorothy Pluck), who was born June 4, 1925, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 22, 2022. She was the daughter of George and Edna Wisoochnick of Wauwatosa. Dorothy lived her entire 97 years within a 3 square mile radius of Wauwatosa. She loved her “hometown,” enjoying many friends and family, as well as ballroom dancing, yoga, gardening, and decorating. Dorothy was active and vital throughout her whole life. Aunt Dorothy married Milo “Mike” Pluck on May 15th, 1947. Sadly, Mike died on February 23, 1978. Dorothy never remarried. She worked at the Falk Corporation as a stenographer/executive secretary from the age 18 to 63 — an incredible 45 years. Dorothy was a modern “career woman” before her time! Dorothy Pluck was pre-deceased by her siblings, Sylvia and James. She is survived by the Pluck nieces and nephews, and by the Ball nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews — the children of her sister Sylvia. Dorothy will be dearly missed, and our love goes with her.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 29th at Krause Funeral Home 9000 West Capital Drive in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Visitation is at 11:00 AM and the funeral service at 12:00 PM.
