Erna M. Roenspies

(nee Braun) Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.  Age 82.  Preceded in death by her husband Donald, infant son, Scott; her parents, Gottlieb and Lydia Braun, and her siblings Ed and Elda Braun. She is survived by her children and grandchildren:  Cheryl Webster and children, Ashley (Zach) and Stephanie Webster; Laura (John) Nook and children, Chris, Nick and Cameron (Casey) Nook; Kevin (Kim) Roenspies and children, Scott and Natalie; and Michelle (Ken) Mueller and children, Miranda and Justin; and brother Elmer (Joan) Braun. She is further survived by additional family members and friends.

Erna enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. She liked to spend time with her family, and she was a faithful volunteer at Covenant Lutheran Church.

Visitation at Covenant Lutheran Church, 8121 West Hope Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Private interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Humane Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
