Born February 4, 1934 and entered into eternal life on November 8, 2017, at the young age of 83 years. Survived by his wife, Bette Sass, and his children Diana (Steve) Jenkins, Paula (Greg) Ward, Kim, Donald (DeeDee), Karen (John) Hunt, Liana, and Carol Cosey. Also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his son Terrance Patterson, other relatives and friends.

He was a retired teacher and administrator for Milwaukee Public Schools for 30 years. He also was a Korean War Veteran in the US Air Force.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Private inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
