My mom was my best friend I could tell her anything. She always put everyone first, even when she was sick she always worried about everyone else and wanted to make sure they always had everything they needed. I have too many great memories to pick just one. I will always love you mom and will carry you in my heart. I already miss you so much. Love you more then you ever knew.

Having been married to Barb for 30+ years, I have too many memories to share, but there are a few that will always stand out to me. Ethel and Leo have a summer place in northern Wisconsin. I was lucky enough to be able to bow hunt across the street. On the outside of their place was an old bell. This had never been rung, except for one evening. I was sitting in my tree and a huge buck started working his way down the trail towards me. For some reason, Ethel decided to ring the bell telling everybody dinner was ready. The buck turned and ran away. When I made my way back and asked her about it, Ethel had her sheepish grin and without hesitation said, "You would have missed it anyway." This place was easily one of Ethel's favorite places. There were many mornings when we would sit by the fire having a cup of coffee, she always had a full pot brewing. Not many words were exchanged, we would just sit and enjoy the outdoors and the woods coming to life. Without fail, a hummingbird would land on a feeder, and Ethel would get excited..."there's my hummingbird". The last couple of things to share are more of a personal nature. Whenever Barb and I would stop by to visit, Ethel never asked how we were, it was always "Where is my Melissa?, Is she playing volleyball again.. When is she going to be a nurse, that girls is so smart!!" But the one thing she always said to me and will stay with me forever is..."Mike you are talking like a sausage!!" Not quite sure what that means, but everytime we have a cook out, I will always thing of my loving mother in law. God bless you "grandma" as you have blessed everybody you have touched in your long and happy life.

I've known Ethel & the Brelle Family for 49 &1/2years as her eldest daughter &I have best friends since then. Ethel always was more loving and motherly to me than my own parents were. She and all the Brelles made me feel very welcome. My late husband only met Deborah's parents once, but thought very highly of them. All my memories of Ethel will forever be fond ones. Thank You Ethel & Family for being my friend. Love Barbara. In loving memory of Bob "Pappy"
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
