At peace on May 4, 2020, age 96, wife of the late Carl C. Barylak. She was predeceased in death by her sons Carl (Karen), Michael (Heidi). Dearest Mother of Terri Barylak-Roge (Kyle), and Jeffrey (Gretchen). Loving grandmother of Michelle Phillips (Joe), Adam (Tina), David, Chip (Amy) and Katelyn Heun (Tom). Great-grandmother to Matthew, Jeffrey, Simon, Elliott, Michael, Rose, Jacob, Ethan and William. Further survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Frances lived her whole life in West Allis, where for years she faithfully attended St. Mary’s Help of Christians Church. She was proud of her Croatian heritage and shared her traditions with her kids. As you know she cherished her trusted wristwatch because she never wanted to be late for dinner for her love of spaghetti and meatballs ending always with not one but two scoops of Butter-Pecan ice cream. Frances touched many lives in a special way and will live in all of our hearts forever. We miss you dear ‘Mom’, ‘Grandma’, ‘Aunt’, ‘Frances’, ‘Miss Frances’.
A special thanks to the staff at Harwood Place/Lutheran Home/Seasons Hospice for their compassionate care and comforting support.
Because of the current unprecedented situation we are encountering, a ‘celebration of life’ will be held at a later date. Stay tuned!
