Our entire family has enjoyed the years with Gas. Joann will always hold you and the memories close. He was a remarkable man and we've valued the long friendship. It's been different with him not being in the office but so glad we were still able to talk to him. He always treated us like family and he will be missed tremendously. You and Mike will be having a good time catching up, joking and hopefully catching some fish. Our deepest condolences and all our love are with the entire family. The Lowe family (Joann, Michael, Michelle, Celia and the kids)
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

There was never a time I didn't have a smile on my face when I came in contact with Gaston. He reminded me of my favorite person ever in my life, My Grandma. I guess that's why I always had a smile on my face when I saw him. His gentleness and kindness will never be forgotten. He will be missed very much.

Gaston will be missed by countless numbers of friends in and out the industry. Always an honest ,realistic gentleman. I dealt with him for 35 years in various positions and could always count on him to do what he said. One of my favorite memories is bringing him a specially made, giant doughnut ,his favorite, Chocolate doughnut with chocolate filling and chocolate frosting. RIP

When I began in this business I officially covered Michigan but my dad said; "why don't you come up with me and meet Gaston, you're going to like this one". He was right. We went to the Black Kettle for lunch, had sticky caramel rolls and a lot of laughs. Those laughs never stopped. A most stand-up guy you could reach anytime and who was loved by all who knew him. Yes you are measured by the number of your friends. I love this picture, it is a perfect way to remember him. Very warmest regards to Sports specialists and the Lopez family.
LEE FISHER left a message on January 26, 2021:
A true fishing Story: Gaston and Jim came to Fort Myers Beach to fish. We enjoyed the day on the gulf but not much luck. Gas wanted to try one more spot. He baited up with the last two shrimp, had an instant hit, and the fish drug us around for an hour. Gas got tired but would not give the rod to Jim or myself. He hoisted the goliath monster onboard and we estimated it was over 70#. Gas was happy! A great memory for Jim and I.

We have sure missed Gaston in the office. He had a talent of whipping out jokes. His laugh was contagious! I really miss the way he would walk around the office whistling, it sure brightened up our days here. He was amazing at his job. A Legend in his field is what I hear most from our customers. He put his mark on the industry. Working with him for 18 years, I was able to meet his family, which he took great pride in. I want to express my condolences to all of you. He will truly be missed and I feel lucky to have known him, With sincere sympathy, Jeannine
