We are so sorry we cant make the service today. We just want to say that Gas was an amazing man and father. He did everything for his family and boys. He deserves to be at peace with god. We will always think about you and miss you.
Love, Michael and Andrea
Knowing Gas for over 20 years has been a true pleasure. I will miss the stories and jokes he would share each trip to his office. He touched many of my dealers in northern Wisconsin and will be missed greatly. My condolences to Matt and Steve and their families, your dad was special. I am sorry for your loss.

Our entire family has enjoyed the years with Gas.
Joann will always hold you and the memories close.
He was a remarkable man and we've valued the long friendship. It's been different with him not being in the office but so glad we were still able to talk to him. He always treated us like family and he will be missed tremendously. You and Mike will be having a good time catching up, joking and hopefully catching some fish.
Our deepest condolences and all our love are with the entire family.

I am so sorry to hear about Gaston. I have never meet him in person, but have spoken on the phone and emailed him close to 25 years. I always enjoyed speaking to him. He was always nice and kind. I have missed talking to him this season.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

There was never a time I didn't have a smile on my face when I came in contact with Gaston. He reminded me of my favorite person ever in my life, My Grandma. I guess that's why I always had a smile on my face when I saw him. His gentleness and kindness will never be forgotten. He will be missed very much.

Gaston will be missed by countless numbers of friends in and out the industry. Always an honest ,realistic gentleman. I dealt with him for 35 years in various positions and could always count on him to do what he said. One of my favorite memories is bringing him a specially made, giant doughnut ,his favorite, Chocolate doughnut with chocolate filling and chocolate frosting. RIP
When I began in this business I officially covered Michigan but my dad said; "why don't you come up with me and meet Gaston, you're going to like this one". He was right. We went to the Black Kettle for lunch, had sticky caramel rolls and a lot of laughs. Those laughs never stopped. A most stand-up guy you could reach anytime and who was loved by all who knew him. Yes you are measured by the number of your friends. I love this picture, it is a perfect way to remember him. Very warmest regards to Sports specialists and the Lopez family.
A true fishing Story: Gaston and Jim came to Fort Myers Beach to fish. We enjoyed the day on the gulf but not much luck. Gas wanted to try one more spot. He baited up with the last two shrimp, had an instant hit, and the fish drug us around for an hour. Gas got tired but would not give the rod to Jim or myself. He hoisted the goliath monster onboard and we estimated it was over 70#. Gas was happy! A great memory for Jim and I.
Gaston was a special best friend. We fought the long, hard fight of Cancer together and talked often. Our sincere sympathy to his extended family and the entire Sports Specialists staff. God Bless you Gaston. We loved you and will miss you. Rest in peace. Lee Fisher
Gastone was a wonderful person to work with. A fair, honest stand up guy! Pivitol in the workings of this industry and for the company and customers he worked so hard for. His guidance and mentorship into this business has been a cornerstone to the sucess of my business and so many others. His knowledge, firm business dealings and humor will be missed but not forgotten. Rest in eternal peace my friend!

We have sure missed Gaston in the office. He had a talent of whipping out jokes. His laugh was contagious! I really miss the way he would walk around the office whistling, it sure brightened up our days here. He was amazing at his job. A Legend in his field is what I hear most from our customers. He put his mark on the industry.
Working with him for 18 years, I was able to meet his family, which he took great pride in. I want to express my condolences to all of you. He will truly be missed and I feel lucky to have known him, With sincere sympathy, Jeannine

My condolences to Matt and Steve and their Families over your loss.
I had the pleasure of working with your Dad for almost 25 years! It was most often a meeting that I always looked forward to. Starting as a rookie rep, Gas taught Me a lot about the Fishing business. It was many lunches with He,Tom and Jim that made the appointments most always enjoyable.I had several chats with him in his last months and I will,as the other reps that had the pleasure of working with Gas ,will miss him.
I am very sorry for your loss!
