James E. Hensel “Jim”

Found his peace on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, age 73. Loving Husband of Jeanne (nee Raasch) for 48 years. Proud Father of Jennifer (Nelson) Martell and Jaime Hensel. Proud Grandfather of Natalie and Caroline Martell. Devoted Son of Lucille (the late Ernest) Hensel. Brother of Michael (Wanda) Hensel. Brother-in-law of Gerald Raasch. Uncle of Genai (Ed) Angarita, Claudia Marten, Charles Raasch, Andrew (Alisha) Hensel and Alicia (Zach) Albert. Further survived by other family members and friends.

Jim worked 30+ years with Holt Electric Motor Company in inside sales.  He closed out his career at Standard Electric before retiring in 2012.  He loved military history, especially the P51 airplane.  Jim would love to make people laugh and had a beautiful smile.  He enjoyed fishing, especially in FL and also spent many deer hunting seasons with his father, brother and friends.  Jim also was one heck of a sheepsheads player.

Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53072, on Sunday, January 29, 2023, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
