James M. Bachtell “Jim” Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2022, age 63. Loving husband of Janice for 31 years. Loving dad of James. Uncle Jim was a funny and great guy. My brother and I had the best time hanging out with him and Aunt Janice when we went to visit them as kids. Uncle Jim was supportive when Grandpa died. He tried to keep me entertained to help me feel better. We’ll miss you Uncle Jim!

My family and I are sadden by Jim’s passing. I was able to talk to him a couple weeks ago and thankful for his loving care of his family. We grew up together (I am his first cousin with our mothers being sisters - Evelyn and Georgia). Jim was very active in our family’s genealogy. We would talk about our extended family on both sides over the years. I could not attend any family reunions having served in the US Army for 26 years, but I tried to visit him and Janice when I was back in Wisconsin. Jim will truly be missed. He was a great Father, husband, and friend. He cared about family first and foremost. Rest In Peace Jim, you earned it!
