Died peacefully March 26, 2017, age 86. Loving father of Lori (Jeff) Darr and the late Richard Whaley. Caring grandpa of Aaron, Zachary, Danielle and Matthew. His memory will be cherished by his close friends and neighbors, especially Chris and Joe Noonan.  He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Private services were held. A burial service will take place at a later date in Scriba, NY.

My parents Paul and Lauraine Galluzzi were lifelong friends with Jim since their move to Crooked St in 1956.They shared good and bad times.My dad was recalling how Jim and he golfed together after they both retired.Jim was a good neighbor.I know my parents took it hard when he left for Wisconsin,since that left them as the last of the original Crooked St.gang.My mom has since passed away so now dad is the last one.Lori,my prayers are with you and your family.

We were neighbors down road from Jim in Charlton, NY and loved his friendly smile. Our boys delivered his newspaper and he was always generous with his tips. When he would be outside he would always wave on his way next door to visit Joe Noonan. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time and he will be missed dearly.
