James Richard Kendricks was born on February 23, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At the age of 66, God in his merciful ways saw it better to have James with him. James departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
James accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age while attending Christ Presbyterian Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was at Christ Presbyterian Church that in his later years, he rededicated his life to Christ and enjoyed the Sunday morning worship service.
James received his formal education from Milwaukee Public School and graduated from Washington High School. Throughout life, James was very well known for being a helping hand in a time of need. In his later years, he took much pride in being a very valued and appreciated employee at Feeding America.
At an early age, James had an interest in music, especially jazz, and demonstrated great talents as a drummer. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge of cars and showing off his skills as a billiard player. In his leisure, James loved cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks and the Green Bay Packers.
James Richard Kendricks departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Thomas Sr. and Jeanetta Kendricks.
He leaves to cherish his memory: lifelong partner, Juanita “Libby” Hardrick; children, Ramon (Adrianna) Kendricks of Palmdale, CA, Trammeil (Pierre) Peterson, Idris Hardrick of Milwaukee, WI, SheQuita Kendricks of Memphis, TN, and Janay Kendricks of Milwaukee, WI; Brothers, Thomas Kendricks, Jr., Robert Kendricks of Milwaukee, WI, and Leon (Linda) Kendricks of Port St. Lucie, FL; Grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and dear friends that he considered family.
