James (Jim/Jaco) Clapsaddle of New Berlin, WI peacefully passed away December 13, 2020 in his home while watching the Packer game next to the love of his life.
Survived by his wife Lisa; married for 58 years. Children; Laura Wing, Eric (Amy) Clapsaddle. Grandchildren; Justine (Michael) Rivera, Tim Lutzen and Casey and Tom Clapsaddle. Sister; Judy (Danny) Sydlewski.
Further survived by extended family, SCHEAD family, and many, many friends. Jim loved his family and was very proud of them.
Jim served as an Army Veteran in the reserves. He worked as a field engineer for NCR for 37 years and maintained many of those relationships for life.
Jim had a very close relationship with Lisa’s family; Jim and Lisa took family brother/sister trips yearly and were able to see the world together.
SCHEAD family was a life started as a few hunting friends owning a cabin together, but evolved into a second family ~ a life of stories that definitely changed throughout the years, 4 wheeling and love.
Jim was an avid runner, active with the Badgerland Striders for many years, one of his greatest accomplishments was running the Ice Age 50 miler and continued to run most of his adult life.
With regards to COVID safety; A private immediate family service will be held.
A celebration of a life well lived will be held sometime this summer, when we are able to be together.
