Born December 28, 1923. Entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at the age of 96. Loving wife of Glenn Schwandt and cherished mother of Carol Schwandt and Mary Hammetter. Beloved daughter of Oscar H. Strietzel and Emma F. Reuter. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, her daughter Mary and siblings: Marion, Lucille, Robert, Joseph, James, and Donald. She is a treasured grandmother to Robert Hammetter, Thomas Hammetter, Katherine Bell, and Michelle Rodemer with twelve great-grandkids who adored her.

Jeanette was a native of Wisconsin and a faithful lifelong Catholic. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and never missed watching a game. She enjoyed volunteering at her church and election booth, reading, word search puzzles, and going to movies. Jeanette loved to travel and saw the world. Most importantly, though, she loved spending time with her large family.

Jeanette had a kind heart and contagious smile that will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Horizon Hospice at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee for caring for her during her final days.

To Carol: The entire Richards family sends its heartfelt sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your mom. Chad & Tony, two of our four boys, were students of yours at St. Al's in the late 1970s-early 80s. Your name always comes up (in a good way!) when they talk about their grade school days.
