Jeanne (nee Tubesing) Klatt Stilp, age 71, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at home in Hortonville, Wis.
Born August 29, 1948, to Robert and Dorothy Tubesing.
Jeanne graduated from Brookfield Central High School’s class of ’66 and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1970. She was retired from her career of 33 years as an elementary school librarian in the Appleton School District. Jeanne loved her job working with children and getting them excited with reading books. She loved so many different things, but her favorite things were creating miniature doll houses and room boxes. She was always reading, enjoyed traveling, shopping and decorating for the holidays.
Jeanne is survived by husband, Roman Stilp; step-daughters, Laura Vanheuklon, Linda (Casey) Stern, and Sarah (Bob) Stage; 3 step-grandsons; mother, Dorothy Tubesing; sisters, Karen (Peter) Wood and Donna (Joe McCormick) Helm; brother, Richard (Carole) Tubesing; and nieces and nephews, Laura Funches, David Tubesing and John (Sammy) Tubesing. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Tubesing and former husband, Daniel Klatt.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, Friday, January 10, 2020, 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Funeral Service at 12 PM. Jeanne will be buried at Forest Home Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be planned for a future date in the Appleton area.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or the Salvation Army.
