Bud and family. We we are so sorry for your loss. Joan was such a sweet person. Always tried to make everyone comfortable when she was around. We spent a few nights with her and Bud at the lake. Had a great time. She will be missed by a lot of friends at Six Kakes as well.

So many of us here at Six Lakes have been sharing memories of line dancing and happy hours. She was such a blessing to the community and all that got to spend time with her. What a wonderful life! Prayers to the family.

My mom and Joan's son, Jeff, dated in the late 80's when I was just a young kid. I remember a few times spending time over at Joan's house and how wonderful she was. I was SUPER into baseball and one day she took me outside in the park and pitched to me, despite it being cold and windy outside. She was just such a lovely person, and that's what I remember about her all these years later. RIP and may her memory be eternal.
