Went home to the Lord on January 15, 2018, at age 89. Beloved husband of 32 years to Jeannette (nee Reif). Further survived by his children; John Rom, Sandra Rom and the late Richard (Kathleen) Rom; step-children Robert (Cris) Korytkowski and Jerome Korytkowski; grandchildren; Pamela (Bill) Chiklakis, Lisa Modl, Richard Modl, Jennifer Bouley, and Nicole Mefferd; great-grandchildren, Connor, Jacob, Ashley, Kayla, Joshua, Benjamin, Mathew, Iliana, Calysta, Zaphira, Jalen and Judah, great-great grandchildren Novaleies and Michael, additional family and friends.

John worked and retired from Miller Brewing after 37 years.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Funeral service at Noon. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
