Joseph “Joe” Leonard Klafke, age 85, found peace on March 24, 2021. Beloved husband of Caroline (nee Peksa) Klafke. Dear father of Jo Ann (Roberto) Pitre, Michael (Laurie) Klafke, and Kathy Austin. Grandfather of Kayli, Kimberli, Karisa, Tim, and Josh. Brother of Delores Bauza. Also survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his sister, Lillian Lang.

 

Joe retired from WE Energies and then spent 19 years working for the Milwaukee Brewers.

 

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 10:00 AM at St. Leonard Catholic Church, W173S7743 Westwood Drive, Muskego, Wisconsin. Entombment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Brewers attire is suggested for all events.

Joseph will be missed, by all that knew him, both as a friend and co-worker, as I had worked with Joseph many of my 19 years working for the Milwaukee Brewers. It was a joy to see and talk with Joseph the past few years, when he came to the park, for a visit and watch the Brewers play, after his retirement from the Usher staff.
