Chris and family - I am so sorry to hear about your Mom, but you are incredibly lucky to have had her with you as long as you did. I was scrolling thru your Facebook posts and saw the one with your Mom on her birthday this year. So very special to have that.

Joyce was such a special aunt to me. She and Charlie took me “under their wing” when I moved to Milwaukee as a young and naive 17 year old. And now here we are 57 years later, and I am still so appreciative of all Joyce did for me back then. She was an exceptional woman! Rest In peace, Joyce.
Annie Lehrer left a message on June 15, 2022:
Joyce was an amazing woman who loved me like I was one of her own grandchildren. From the moment Simon brought me home to meet her she treated me like her family and I will never forget that. She introduced me to northern Wisconsin life and all the good food that comes with it. She tolerated all my crochet gifts with joy. She gave the best hugs and kisses. I will miss our visits, phone calls and her sweet smile. She was my bonus grandmother. She was also a no nonsense gal who took no sh*t and spoke her mind. I loved that the most. Say hi to Grandpa Charlie for me ❤️
