June Louise Reinicke

June Louise Reinicke (nee Petrie) passed away peacefully in her home Tuesday, February 28, 2023, surrounded by her daughters.  After a 3+ year battle with stage 4 ovarian cancer, to the amazement of doctors and family, she kept cancer at bay longer than anyone thought possible and did so with grace, dignity, and positivity until the end.

June leaves behind her daughters, Lori Reinicke, Lisa (Ralph) Frederick, Lynda (Norm) Kopp and Leslie (Mike) Prusik; grandchildren Kara, Kris, Kyle, Ryan, Jonathon and Rachel; and great granddaughter, Lilly. She is also survived by her twin brother, Jon (Jack) Petrie.

June’s greatest pride and joy was her family.  While she had worked as a branch secretary and transcriptionist through the years, being a devoted wife and mother and caring for her family was her calling. Her late husband Danny would always say, “She was the best woman he ever met.”  To which June would say, “Of course I was, I would let him do whatever he wanted.”

As daughters of this beautiful and gracious woman, we too can say that she was the best woman we have ever known.  She was our best friend, confidante, and role model.  Our mother.  June Louise Reinicke, heavens newest most beautiful angel.
