June Orten

Passed away in the peaceful and graceful way June lived on March 8, 2018 at the age of 100. A cherished daughter to Alfred and Ella Werth, beloved sister of Shirley Haag and the late Lorrie Klocksin. Loving wife of the late Harold E. Orten. Devoted mother of Gary (Margie) Orten, Sharon (John) Koch and Patti (Roger) Bartman. Sweet grandma of Wendy (Mike) Heyer, Sue Koch, Kelli (Jon) Zavodny, Cheryl (Rich) Clifford, Joleigh (Jon) Schumacher, Josh Juechter and Elana Bartman. Treasured great grandma of Alicia (Nathan) Simmons, Michael Scholten, Steven Heyer, Laura (David) Gesvain, Richard Clifford, Brian Heyer, Kathryn (Riley) Swing, Emily Zavodny, Rebecca Clifford, Victoria Zavodny, Elizabeth Heyer, Jon (Jack) Schumacher, Andrew Schumacher, Benjamin Schumacher and Ellie Schumacher. Also, an amazing  great- great grandma to, Pierson Simmons, Otto Gesvain, Averi Simmons, Kyler Simmons and Margaretta Gesvain. June was loved by many other friends and family.

Although June enjoyed many pastimes; from bowling, golf leagues, travel, and of course a good old fashioned party, nothing brought her joy like spending time with her family. Junes’ presence made one feel as if any troubles were only temporary, and that her love was eternal. She was a loving, caring and selfless person who was not only gracious, but also cunning at the card table. Countless evenings were spent enjoying a great meal followed by games into the wee hours of the night, and will be missed dearly.

Her celebration of life will take place at the Krause Funeral Home located at 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI on March 12, 2018 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, burial to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
