Died peacefully on August 29, 2023, Age 82. Beloved wife of the late Dennis. Dear mother of Kathleen Jones, Colleen (James) Nelson, and Michael O’Connor. Loving grandma of Tyler (Cassie), Andrew, Shannon (Daniel), Jamie (Kendall), the late Aaron, Abby (Joe), Grace, Emily, Collin, and Evan. Sister of Jackie (Buck) Chaney. Also loved by other relatives and friends.
LaVerne was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was an Avon Representative for 50 years. She loved to travel, line dance and go to the casinos with her friends. LaVerne was a devoted member of Blessed Savior Lutheran Church for 60 years.
Visitation will be at Blessed Savior Lutheran Church, 15250 West Cleveland Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM with funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM. Private burial at Highland Memorial Park.
