Lindsay Ann Katt (nee Hesiak) passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at age 29. Loving mom of her precious children, Alikah, Harper, and Bodhi. Loving wife and best friend of Spencer. Beautiful daughter of Gail (nee Grochowski) and Bill Hesiak. Cherished sister of Tony Messina, Gina (Bryan) Hermus, Heather (Max) Oster, and Luke Hesiak. Proud aunt of Simon, Cecie, Arlo, and Will. Dear daughter-in-law of William and Susan Katt. It goes without saying that Lindsay’s beauty, unique sense of humor, and kind-heartedness will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.
Lindsay had a very special soul whose light will always be remembered. Her heart was truly one of gold that was fueled by her overwhelming love for her children. As we mourn, help us keep the light on by sharing stories, poems and quotes as Lindsay often did through her journalism to get her through her own dark days or as a way of true expression.
Our family would like to start the trail with the quote below which truly characterizes Lindsay:
“To be kind is more important than to be right. Many times, what people need is not a brilliant mind that speaks but a special heart that listens”.
A celebration of Lindsay’s life will be held on Sunday, December 16th from 11:00 AM – 12:45 PM, with a time of sharing to follow at 1:00 PM. Memorial will be held at Krause Funeral Home located at 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI 53072.
Memorial donations in honor of Lindsay and in support of her family can be coordinated through any immediate family member. Donations will be used to ensure her children can live out their dreams and become whatever they hope to be, as Lindsay would have wholeheartedly wanted.
