Dana left a message on April 5, 2020:
Logans love will always be with me. He taught me so much about God's grace and even with the pain of today I know that you will still always come For me. Always be with me. You told me your self just days before you got called home that a soul tie like ours doesn't ever go away. We get a forever love because we have Grace. My heart goes out to your family. I'm praying that your Mom and Dad as well as Luke and Levi find peace in your love and God's love.

I had the pleasure of meeting Logan a few months ago, and we became close very quickly. He had an amazing sense of humor, and a passion for God. We spent many nights sharing conversations about God working in our lives, and even had impromptu praise and worship sessions right in my truck just driving around listening to music. His personal request was usually “New Wine” by Hillsong Worship. He was madly in love with God, recovery and the fellowship from the moment we met and also realized there was other people that loved to play spades and poker as much as him! He will be dearly missed by me, and many other men who had the blessing of spending some intimate time with him. As much as I miss Logan, I find a ton of peace knowing his faith and salvation are secure - he’s home. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure you are doubting many things at this moment in life. Just know that you were a great father and Levi a great brother. Both of you loved Logan very much and he was lucky to have you in his life. Honestly watching the way you helped your boys over the years made me want to be a better father. No words will take away your pain. Life doesn't make sense in times like this to me. Just know that everyone around you loves you both and Logan left this world giving people unconditional love and friendship.

Our tears flow with sorrow and compassion. As I write this note I am holding you and your family gently in my arms knowing your heart is breaking and the thing that holds everything together right now is love and understanding. May you find comfort in these words from the first and last lines of the book ‘The Next Place’…. The next place I go will be as peaceful and familiar as a sleepy summer Sunday and a sweet untroubled mind. And yet...it won’t be anything like any place I’ve ever been… or seen… or even dreamed of in the place I leave behind. All these good things will go with me. They will make my spirit glow. And that light will shine forever in the next place that I go. Doug & Sherrie Lien
