Lois T. Bauer (nee Bettiga) passed away peacefully on July 25, 2021, at the age of 91.

 

Loving wife of the late John E. Bauer for 42 years. Cherished mother of Kathryn (Wetsten) Kunz and John Scott Bauer. Loving Grandma of Chad S. Wetsten and Brian J. (Sarah) Wetsten. Proud Great-Grandma of Alexandria (Paul), Chad Jr., Haylie, and Brayden. Dearest friend and companion of the late Robert Pollak of Waukesha. Survived by her twin sister Joyce Dorn and brother, Terry Bettiga. Preceded in death by sister Rosemary Kluskens and brothers Bob and Jackie. Further survived by her many nieces, nephews, and many special friends including Dawn.

 

Lois worked for MPS as a teacher’s Aide at Lancaster School in Milwaukee for 23 years.

 

A special thank you to New Perspectives-West Bend Betty’s Harbor for their care, support, and love as well as Seasons Hospice who got us thru this trying time. Mom was a feisty, loving woman who had a special elegant presence about her and was always dressed to perfection. She loved her family with her whole heart.

 

A time of visitation for Lois will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
