Mama Lou was everything and then more to my kids and I. A true mother figure nonetheless, and that’s why I love her and hold her dear to my heart. I can remember when I needed her, she never questioned me, yet simply said okay I’ll see what I can do. I will miss being able to take you to Poto and to the grocery store haha, I’ll miss helping to put together puzzles but those are memories that mean the most to me. I love how you nick named me ‘Lil yella girl’! You were the most bravest woman I’ve come across. You encouraged me to never give up and to stay focused. I love you Mama Lou. Although my children were not your biological grandchildren, you never treated them otherwise. This is not a time to feel sorry, yet rejoice knowing that you are in a better place and no longer suffering. We love you very much, until we meet again

Aunt Lou I have the greatest memories with you and grandma Mary. I always enjoyed going to bingo halls with you and grandma and hearing all of the stories about grandpa. You were full of jokes, great stories and very feisty when it came down to it. I love you so much aunt Lou and you will be greatly missed. I love you.

Lou was the greatest beautician I ever had. She would whip my hair just right. She also styled my Daughter's hair when she was younger and she thought it was the greatest thing. Lou love that. RIH dear one.

My first car was a Ford Mustang and I had to make payments. My mother Mary and my Aunt Louise (Lou) went with me to make the final payment! I can still remember us jumping up and down in the bank parking lot when I walked out with a paid in full receipt, not to mention a clean title. Lou you will always be my favorite aunt in the world! I love you Lou!! RIP Cathy
