(Nee Treu) Joined her loving husband, Ernie Franzen on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Age 90. Beloved mother of Ernst-Ulrich (Eileen) Franzen, Barbara (the late Randolph) Keeler and Robert (Paulette) Franzen. Proud Oma of Lene, Ena, Amanda, Mary (Paul) and Michael (Carmen). Dear sister of Helga and sister-in-law of Almida. Further survived and will be missed by additional family and friends.

Lena was born in the Soviet Union, grew up in Germany and immigrated to the United States in 1952. She worked at First Wisconsin for many years. Lena was a gifted musician and singer who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy.

To the family of Magdalena Franzen, I worked at the bank with Maggie for many years. She truly was a special person, very generous, very compassionate, and very interesting. I loved the special German treats she would make for the group. I remember she loved God and her family. Oh was she excited about her grandchildren. Many years ago I ran into Maggie at Froedert Hospital's cafeteria. We both had someone in the hospital, but we were able to visit for a bit. I'm glad I had the privilege of knowing your beloved.
