To the Grandberry Family
I would like to exist my condolence to the family. My heart broke into pieces when I heard the news of my beloved neighbor, my first boss and my auntie passing. Margaret was the sweetest person and she shared her family with my siblings and myself, she treated us just like we were her extra children. Love going to the ice cream parlor and the lake and the park with her. Margaret and my mother shared the same name and they thought that was the funniest thing in the world. The Grandberry will always have a special place in my heart!!! I am here if you need someone to talk. I will keep you in my prayers.

Margaret sold my husband and I our first home, I remember her showing houses with Marlanda at her side, she had goals and set for herself and achieved them as a black women I was proud to know her, I remembered being nervous about opening my salon and she told me ( girl open that salon (huh) and you better get nervous later lol) set your goals and I did and I’ve been open for 17years and I thank her for all her advice she gave me !!!! She was truly a Jewel sent here and she will be greatly missed !!!

I remember Margaret selling and showing houses with Marlanda with her, and going after what she wanted and achieving goals that she set for herself it!!! Her expectations were high and she meant she was going to do it !!! She was force I remember was nervous about opening my salon, and she told me don’t be nervous just do it!! Get nervous later!! And I did!! I’ve been open for 17years and I thank her for her advice and encouragement!! She will be greatly missed !!

Mom & Pop Grandberry displayed so much love, support and guidance in my young adult hood. If you ever had the opportunity to be in Mom Grandberry presence it most definitely was a benefit to your life. Her smile, her sarcastic laugh right before she ask me why I didn’t think before I did something stupid lol.Her way of making you feel included. She was such a leader, a lover of people, hard worker,friend, amazing parent. I literally would listen to every advice, suggestion Mom & Pop presented to me early on and I know I made her proud. Selfishly, Mom I wanted just one more opportunity to hug you and tell you that you made a huge impact on my life and I will love you forever.
