Margaret Murtaugh

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5^th, 2017, at the age of 103. She was born in Chicago to Maurice and Mary Mullane on March 3^rd, 1914. She and her family moved to Milwaukee in 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, of 57 years; their son, Robert (the late Carole); her parents; her brother, Fr. Pat Mullane; sisters, Marie Hartigan and Adela Mullane. She is survived by her sons Jack (Lucia), James (Alice), grandchildren; Erin (Will) Strouse and Patrick (Stephanie) and 2 great – grandsons; Owen and Teddy Strouse.  She is further survived by nephews and nieces, grand-nephews and nieces, great-grand-nephews and nieces, cousins, and friends.

Visitation at San Camillo Chapel, 10200 West Bluemound Road, on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Private committal at Holy Cross Cemetery.

The Murtaugh family is grateful to the staff of San Camillo where she lived independently for 10 years. The family is deeply appreciative for the loving care and support she received in the memory unit for the past two years.

Margaret will be remembered for her wit, her grateful spirit, and her loving affirmation which she gave to her family and friends.
