Margie E. Floyd

(Nee Bremer) Began her walk into God’s loving arms on November 19, 2018, age 96. Beloved wife of the late Irwin B. Floyd. Loving mother of Steven W. Floyd. Proud grandmother of Carly Floyd (fiancé Nicholas Sherman). Dear friend of Nikki Schuldt. Also loved by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Clara Bremer. Clara resided with the family helping to raise Steven and contributed greatly to the household.

Margie touched the lives of thousands of children through her 45 years devoted to teaching kindergarten students. Margie spent a lot time volunteering, especially at Luther Manor and the Salvation Army. She loved to garden and grow her beloved roses. As a member of her card clubs, she enjoyed playing sheepshead and bridge. She is a member of the Eastern Stars McKinley Lodge. Margie’s granddaughter, Carly, meant the world to her. Margie had a strong commitment to her faith, she was a member of her church throughout her life.
