My deepest sympathy. Thank you for sharing a great man to the family Chris. You definitely found a great guy. He will be missed by so many people. We all love you and him. You are all in my prayers
Sincere condolences to Mark (Big Boys) Family. Mark was one of most loyal, dedicated SWAT officers ever on the MPD. As his former commander I can attest to his loyalty and love for his fellow officers. Always willing to go 100%. May God's Speed carry you to the. Gates of heaven.
Mark was the ultimate Tactical Officer and I was fortunate to work with him.
The video tribute shows the kind, caring side of a man that was loved by those who knew him. At work he was a tough and brave man doing the work needed to get the job done.
It was my honor to call him my friend and partner.
The streets of Heaven are a bit safer as you are now on patrol. I remember our time together at District 7. Military veterans as well as police veterans. A special bond that only those who served can understand. Calm seas and gentle breezes my friend!
My sincere condolences to Christine and the family. Mark was a kind man. Christine and family may you experience the love, peace, and comfort, of the Lord, at this most difficult time.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Chris and entire family. Our deepest sympathy to all. He sure was a great guy.
RIP Mark When I was in Stores at the Academy Mark would come
in for batteries and supplies for training and we would end up
chewing the fat about police events. I was a civilian and he was a
cop, but I learned so much.He was the best!
Mark was “a cop’s cop.” He was the ultimate professional. Mark was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who knew him. He made my time at Patrol Support so much more enjoyable. Rest well.
Auntie Chris, Tanya and Shawn, Uncle Mark will be missed by so many. Our hearts are with you all. Poor little miss Amber, I don’t think she will ever be the same. We are so grateful we had “Father Mark” for our wedding. All of our Love ❤️
The service from your loved one will never be forgotten from the continued memories by you and your family. Keep them in your heart and always cherish the service they provided for all of us to live comfortably and enjoy our beautiful country. Please accept my sincere condolences on the behalf of the Badger Honor Flight family on the loss of your fallen hero.
My sincere condolences to Christine Koch and her entire family on the passing of Mark.
Just wanted to let you know that I always appreciated all the help I received from Mark and his partners over the years while out on the streets. Mark and his partners were always ready to respond and assist many officers on the street.
Mark and his partners were an asset to MPD and the citizens of Milwaukee they served. Now another good officer has left this planet way too soon but not without leaving his smile, work ethics and friendship for all to remember him by.
Christine may God bless the entire Koch family during this time of sorrow now and in the future. Christine, I know you are a tuff cookie, so be strong for your family and accept all the love and compassion that comes your way. May your heart mend as you and your immediate family go thru the process of healing, after Marks passing.
Remember Mark is on a new journey and probably has been assigned to gods TAC unit already. As Mark leaves everyone he cared for and those that loved him. Just remember that all those family and friends that Mark knew that left before him were all waiting for him with their arms open to accept him to the heavens above.
Be safe Christine as you are in my prayers and someday in the future you will be reunited with Mark so you can continue holding hands again forever. Christine you and Mark were co-workers that many will never forget because of your caring and compassion towards others.
R.I.P Mark Koch

It is so surreal the events of Monday took place. How can it be? Your presence will be missed at the house and at family events. Grateful we got some one on one type moments. You were a great example of commitment and dedication to work, to family. Your work will continue in a different way surrounded by those you are connected to, gone before you. Till we meet again Markie Mark, we love you!
You are missed beyond what words can express!!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Mark was an outstanding police officer who always gave 100% of effort on assignments. As a TEU commander I saw first hand how brave and capable He was. During dangerous tactical operations Big Boy was mostly assigned to the #1 position as the lead officer on the 5 person entry team. He performed flawlessly with courage and bravery. Rest in Peace friend. You've done your job.
To my friend, training partner, and one of the Four Horsemen from West Milwaukee High School. You were one of the best people I ever had the honor to know and love.
Your skills and guidance made me one of the best of the best.
Lynn and I will miss you dearly.
Rest in peace Big Boy.
Lynn and Dean Schubert
We're sure Mark is happily "working security" at heaven's gates right now. Thoughts and prayers for all of you.
We can't find the right words to say to you, and we're afraid to say the wrong thing, so we'll just tell you how much we love you and that we're here to support you.
To our awesome brother in-law Mark, You are going to be missed everyday 24/7 Sun up to Sun down. Rain or Shine..We Love you more…We will see you when we see you..
My Darling Big Brother. You've left us way too soon. You've been a rock and a loving presence in my life since we were were 'cowboys and Indians' at the ripe old age of 2 and 4 yrs. I cannot believe I will never be able to see that smiling face or hear your booming laughter ever again. And I will forever miss that call that I will never get. You are forever in my heart. I will Love you forever. I know that you are in the Hands of God, and are in the warm embrace of Dad, Mom, Kitty Michael, Uncle Mike, Aunt Catherine, Uncle Joe and all the rest of our loving departed family. Please watch over Chris. And give me a special wink every now and then. Let your Light shine bright in Heaven as you did on earth. I Love You Big Brother. Peace.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
