Maximillian Tate Spellecy “Max” born into Eternal Life on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at age 15. Beloved and kind son of Katie and Ryan Spellecy. Loving older brother of Abigail. Cherished grandson of Frankie Van Deman, William Van Deman, Sandra Spellecy, and Ronald (Cynthia) Spellecy. Dear nephew of Sarah Van Deman, Elizabeth (Al) Vitaro, and Sean (Teri) Spellecy. Dear cousin of Bodhi and Mason. Max will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Memorial Gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Wednesday, November 14, from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM. Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.

Max was active in Boy Scouts of America and Youth 4:12 at Grace Christian Fellowship Church. He attended Ronald Reagan High School and played on the Soccer Team. Max enjoyed skateboarding, playing the drums, and camping. Max was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

max i miss u everyday

its been 5 years since max passed. i still have a hard time believing it. we all miss him like hell. i miss seeing him play drums. I go to a lot of local shows and I often look at the drummer and imagine its max. its very bittersweet. i miss him a lot. the last time i saw him was at a waterpark, my girl friends were ignoring me and he totally noticed and spent the day with me. it was such a sweet act of kindness.

Dear Spellecy Family and those loved by Max: I lit a candle after church Sunday and reflected fondly on the day Max found out I had 'good' candy in my office (Haribo gummy bears). He had such a delighted smile on his face as he traipsed back to his dad's office. I will continue to lift you all up in prayer.

I remember meeting Max a few times when he came to work with you. The last time I saw him we shared memories of where we have camped and hiked - he had just returned from a family trip. I could see his love for the outdoors in his face, as he told me about the places he'd been as a scout. I am sending you love and strength.

Our daughter shares a couple classes with Max at Reagan. She has often shared with us funny stories and jokes and videos that include, or sometimes star, Max. He was a good friend to our daughter and she has several notes from him that she keeps close. He was a bright spot in her life. We are praying for your family during this difficult time.
