Passed away peacefully at home of Pancreatic Cancer on May 11, 2017, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Millie (nee Jensen), for 45 years. I was so saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I was lucky enough to be able to volunteer with him through pancan. He was truly a bright light in a battle that doesn't always have a lot of hope. We will continue to keep him in our hearts as we Wage Hope against this horrible disease.

I first met Mike in 1974 during his last year in law school at the University of Wisconsin when he accepted a job offer to work for the Mulcahy & Wherry law firm. I worked with Mike for several years at the law firm. Mike uniquely combined a quiet strength with genuine warmth and compassion. He had a wonderful sense of humor that was subtly expressed with a small, somewhat sly, smile. He was totally dedicated to Millie and his family. He was simply the best “man for all seasons” that I have ever known.

While I never met Mike, nor ever spoke with him, we e-mailed over the last year. Mike was an amazing support to me after my husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He was supportive, kind and positive despite battling this awful cancer himself. Mike always referred to his sources of strength: his wonderful wife and family, friends and his faith. While I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, his support was invaluable. I am so sorry for your loss.

I first met Mike in 2008 while viewing condos at Eagle Landing. His warm smile and reassuring voice were a huge part of my decision to purchase one of the Eagle Landing Condos.
