Dear Betty, My thoughts and heart are with you and the family today. I will truly miss my Uncle Tom. We didn't talk as often as we should have but every visit meant a lot to me. I will always appreciate his generosity of stories, the laughter and the firm shoulder to cry on. whenever I needed it. One of my earliest childhood memory was being upset and not wanting to go to sleep when my Uncle Tom was visiting...I snuck out of my bed and quietly sat in the hallway listening to the adults play poker....there would be political arguments one minute and dirty jokes the next minute. As an adult I always tried to connect with Uncle Tom when I came back to WI for a visit. I loved it when he had his little store in the office building downtown. My friends would be so excited to buy popcorn and other "something special from WI" products and to hang out and talk. I've always been so proud of my kind, funny, supportive and generous Uncle! I know he was very close to my Mom and missed her dearly; I'm so glad they're together again. RIP Uncle Tom, please give my parents and your brothers a big hug and kiss from all of us who miss them so much. Love to the whole family. Kelly Bortoluzzi

I will miss not being able to get your honey for your bagel and refresh your coffee. A great smile, a beautiful head of white hair, and wonderful sense of humor.......you will be missed but NOT forgotten.

Betty you are in our prayers and thoughts. Our deepest sympathy. We always loved going to Prairie du Chein to see a Grandpa and the triplets. They were in there late teens when I remember them playing cards in the kitchen there having a beer or 2 and us kids were upstairs watching through the heating vent in the floor. We decided to drop some marbles down the vent, Wow big mistake grandpa didn’t find it as funny as we did. He will be missed and his great smile. Hugs ,love and prayers. Dick and Kathie Reed niece.
