During her years as a Clinical Dietitian Nancy held many offices in the American Dietetic Association at both the state and local level.
Nancy and Roger enjoyed traveling and took many trips to interesting places in Europe and the Untied States, but upon retirement they decided to tour the US in their motorhome. One of the longest trips being for 9 months where they toured the eastern coast, and southern states and then settling in Arizona for the winter months. After enjoying that time in Arizona, they ultimately decided to become yearly snowbirds to that area which continued for over 20 years.
Nancy also enjoyed history and became a docent for the Historic Milwaukee INC. for over 20 years. She was a wealth of Knowledge regarding the Milwaukee area and loved giving all the different tours each year as well as being involved in the house tours through Spaces and Traces.
During her years of retirement, she also worked on the genealogies of her’s and Roger’s families. She became very good at hunting down information on past relatives and in the end was able to preserve this information in a book she put together. Ultimately the most important thing to Nancy was the love of her family and the many times we were able to spend together.
