I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as the comfort found in God’s word the bible. In the face of such tragedy, many wonder why God allows such suffering. In the bible, Romans 5:12 says, "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

As the eldest grandchild in the Schramm-Hamann clan, Pat’s passing is a sad milestone. She led us all in finding love, in surviving loss, and in fighting on. I am so sorry for your loss. The death of a love one can be extremely difficult to cope with. Many have found comfort in the many promises found in God's word the bible. Acts 24:15 has special meaning for many. There it speaks about the resurrection. By means of the resurrection our loving Creator, Jehovah God, will restore life back to those sleeping in death as promised (Titus1:2). Please embrace this wonderful promise of God during this difficult time.
