Russell, Muriel Launder and Family left a message on October 14, 2018:
From Muriel and Russ Launder - We're sorry we could not attend the service for Pat. We are not as mobile as we would like. It is difficult to put in words the many times we met with Pat and John and how we shared our daily experiences. We mostly shared events that included our families. We were fortunate to spend so many years with Pat and John. They were a very special couple and always helped brighten the day. We send our love and prayers to the Spolar Family.

I knew both John and Pat for over twenty years. I miss both of our wonderful conversations and laughter. Fr. Joe

Mary, Ann Joe and Tom, Sending thoughts and prayers to you at this very difficult time. I will always hold closely the memories of your folks and the entire extended Spolar family. We all were blessed to have such wonderful Aunts and Uncles as part of our growing up. You mom was a witty, charming woman who had an unshakeable faith in her catholic upbringing. She and your dad were a perfect match for one another as they both put their love of family and god first in their lives....May the good lord continue to watch over you all.....Cousin Rosa

I remember Pat’s vibrant smile. My mother , Katy Lang was Johns sister . On their yearly visit to Virginia my Dad would serve his traditional walleye and blueberry pie. My dad , Joe , loved to pick blueberries and fish for walleye .
