On Friday, September 17, 2021, Patrick Langoehr, an amazing man with an infectious smile, and the best brother anyone could ask for, passed away at the age of 53.
Merle & Albert Langoehr welcomed a true gentleman on August 13, 1968. Patrick dazzled the nurses with a smile that could light up a room.
Patrick was born with a sense of adventure in him. Being the oldest sibling with 4 sisters, Patrick had his work cut out for him. He graduated from Wauwatosa East High School. His next adventure took him to University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, where he got his two degrees. Patrick’s degree in Liberal Arts helped him with his passion for travel. He traveled all over the world meeting new people and seeing incredible places. With his charming attitude and sense of humor, Patrick made numerous lifelong friends everywhere he went.
He would tell tall tales of losing a tooth in a fight protecting a friend, when he really lost it eating a frozen Snickers. Being on the Autobahn reminded Patrick of his dad’s driving and Milwaukee traffic. He would never miss a moment to come home and be with his family. After his parents’ passing, Patrick moved back to the States full time, settling in San Diego, California. He was able to get the perfect job working for the airlines, where he made numerous friends.
Patrick would make many trips back to Wisconsin to visit his sisters and all his wonderful nieces and nephews. Patrick and crew would make trips up to Door County to visit their parents, even having to sleep in the same bed with 3 his sisters after a reservation mishap. Lots of laughs were had that night.
We will always remember Patrick for his charming personality, amazing laugh, and tales of travel.
Patrick is survived by his beloved sisters Sue (Anita) Langoehr, Kathleen Yourell, Lisa Langoehr and Brenda Langoehr. Further survived by nieces and nephews Jalin, Charlotte, Jonavin, Alice, Grayson, Vivian, and Presley, as well as many cousins and friends he called family.
Patrick is preceded in death by his parents Merle and Albert Langoehr, and Brother Todd Langoehr.
He was known for his plaid shirts, Velcro wallet with the Brewers logo and a tall glass of Jack and Coke, easy on the Jack.
As Patrick always said, “See you later, Alligator!”
