Patrick J. O’Brien, age 48, was called home on August 14, 2022 doing what he loved, with the wind and sun on his face.

Father to Damien (partner Johana Chaparro) O’Brien, grandfather to Samaya O’Brien, brother to Scott (Piper) O’Brien, Michael (Marie) O’Brien, Jennifer (Ian Martin) O’Brien, brother-in-law to Ted (Lori) O’Brien, and partner to Tanya Surprise. Uncle of Kelly (Matthew) McCaig, Casey, Cody, Kalene, and as well as great-uncle of Adalynn. Nephew of Timothy (Kay) O’Brien and Jim (Peggy) Knorr, and loved by many other family and friends not mentioned here.

Preceded in death by his mother Marilyn (nee Knorr) O’Brien, father Tom O’Brien, sister Lori (Ted O’Brien) O’Brien, as well as close cousins and his brother by choice, Mike Lyons.

Memorial visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM. Bandanas welcome!

Happy Birthday, brother. Realized today that you will forever be frozen at the age I am today. Come January, I’ll surpass you. It’s a bittersweet thought. You and Lor were with us at Kalene's wedding (Ted wore your shoes), and you're always in our hearts. I grew up in the early 70’s with Scott & Mick, Lori was little (RIP) and I remember mom was pregnant with Patrick, don’t have many memories of Patrick growing up, but I knew the family pretty well as a teenager, my heart breaks for your loss,, you’ve been through too much the past couple of years, Rest In Peace Patrick 💝🙏🏼
