Found peace on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Age 59. Cherished husband of Tracy (nee Wilson), for 27 years. Proud father of Benjamin (Beki), Elizabeth, Brady, and Samuel. Grandfather of Alice, Rigel, and Lex. Also loved by brothers, sisters, other relatives, friends, and his Schlossmann Auto Dealership family.

Rick had a positive energy and bright shiny smile.  He loved being outdoors, and could never get enough of the warm sun.  He enjoyed many things in life, always keeping busy, listening to music, bowling, and watching sports.  A loyal fan of the Packers, Bucks, and Brewers.

He had a generous and compassionate heart.

Always willing to lend a hand to someone in need.  He was gifted with the ability to fix just about anything, taking pleasure in sharing his knowledge with his sons.  Rick also took great pride in his 30+ years working for Schlossmanns’ Dodge City, sometimes his second home.  Known to many as “the viper guy”.  Over the years he had developed many close and long lasting friendships.  He was a good man, with a beautiful soul.

Forever  loved and cherished, rest in peace.

Memorial gathering at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Thursday, January 31, 2019, from 4:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Celebration of Rick’s life at 7:00 PM.
