We are so saddened to see that Rich has passed. My husband Kurt, worked with Rich's BIL, Rick many years ago. This is how we met Rich. Rich and Rick both bowled on my husband's leagues for a few years. They both attened our wedding. There is a funny part in our wedding video from the reception from Rich. It always makes me laugh. When I use something we received from our wedding, I often think of the person that gave it to us. I think of Rich when I use our hand held mixer we bought with the money gift he gave us. We haven't seen Rich or Rick in over 25 years as Rick left the company my husband works for many years ago and we moved to Iowa. We have fond memories of Rich. He made us laugh a lot. We send our deepest sympathy to Rich's family. May he rest in peace.
James J Stein left a message on June 6, 2022:
My wife and I didn't know the reason for Rich no longer being our Acuity Insurance underwriter. We assume he didn't want (m)any to know the cause of, I suspect, his suffering/malady. So, we didn't pry or pressure to get a reason. For that reason, too, his obituary was likewise not about that. And, I am glad that we get to see a really nice picture of Rich from a better time. Also glad that he said to donate to our own cause. I have two, one heart disease, which Rich knows I deal with, and the other, diabetes for which I have been bicycling the Tour de Cure for well over 25 years. I expect to raise at least $1,000 for at least the 5th year in a row, thanks to some very, very good friends. God bless Rich!
