Began his journey home on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Age 66. Devoted husband of Anna (nee Hoffman), for 20 years. Proud father of Corrina, Russell, Mary Ann, Rich Jr., Wendy, Mary Patricia, Robbie, and Paula. Grandfather of Destiny, Sedona, Paige, Roger, Anthony, Logan, Briar, and Clayton. Brother of Sharon, Phillip, and Colleen. Also loved by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Service will follow at 7:00 PM. Burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Meet at the Funeral Home at 12:30 PM. Kickstands up at 1:00 PM.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort from your memories, as well as the comfort found in God’s word the bible. In the face of such tragedy, many wonder why God allows such suffering. In the bible, Romans 5:12 says, "That is why, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." How loving of God to promise what is found at Revelation 21:4 which says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
