Richard M. “Rich” Schneider passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on Sunday, September 10, 2023.

He joins his beloved wife Betty in Heaven. Loving father of Bonnie (Todd) Angiolo, Jeff (Linda) Schneider, Chuck (Tammy) Schneider, and Lisa Schneider. Proud grandfather of Jessica (Daniel), Ryan (Kelly), Jeffrey (Nicole), Chelsie, Maranda, Brandon, and Kaylie. Great-grandfather of Parker, Braxton, Emmalyn, Jackson, Joseph, Joshua, and Hudson. Survived by brother Larry and sisters-in-law Pat Schneider and Shirley Boyd.

Preceded in death by siblings Loretta, Lillian, Hildegard, Dorothy, George, Edward, Eugene, Robert, William, Mary Ann, and Raymond.

Rich was a hard worker and enjoyed working in his yard, woodworking, and fixing things. We imagine he is in Heaven playing Bingo and cards with Betty, his siblings, and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Monday, September 25, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Mass will be on Tuesday, September 26th at 10:00 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 18000 West Greenfield Avenue, Brookfield with private family burial to follow.

My dear friend Lisa, and family, Please accept my most sincere condolences to you and your family. I didn't know your dad personally, but I always heard what a wonderful person he was, how he loved his family and as Teri wrote how he took care of his garden. I know how he missed your mom, and now, God joined them again in heaven. You took such a good care of him since your mom's passing, you were always thinking of him, never leaving him alone for a long time, and even when we were seeing each other, you were always saying, 'dad is alone, I have to go home'.
