Died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Age 56. Devoted husband of Karen (nee Becker). Father of Amanda Deglau. Also loved by other relatives and many friends. Robert was my student when I was a young Home Ec teacher. He remembered me because I let the kids make bean bag chairs at a time when boys were just having to take a "girl's" class. He found me on Facebook a few years ago and we wrote back and forth. He just sent me a beautiful birthday greeting a few weeks ago. I'm so sorry for his family.

I was so sad and shocked to hear of Robert's passing. We first met when I was in high school and continued our friendship throughout my college years. He was one of the kindest people I've ever met, and did everything out of the kindness of his heart, never expecting anything in return. He will be dearly missed by all.
