Robert “Bob” W. Marquardt

Passed peacefully into Eternal Life on Friday, March 22, 2019, age 89. He was born August 28, 1929. Passed away peacefully after a long illness on March 22, 2019. He met his loving wife Jean Milward June 16, 1948 at Founiers Ballroom in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He married the love of his life on September 23, 1950 for 68 1/2 years. Bob served in the U.S. Army, was stationed in Fuji, Japan and was honorably discharged December 1952. He worked at Bradley Washfountain for 40 years.

Loving Husband of Jean for 68 years. Dad of Shirley Taylor, Bob (Maribeth), Bill, Steve (Linda), Jim, and the late Tim (Lynda) Marquardt. Proud Grandpa of James (Jolene), Jason (Julia), Paul (Shannon), Daniel (Ashley), the late Sara Clark (the late Jason), Kimberly Riggans (Jason), Jimmy, TJ (Stephanie).Great grandpa of 17 and great great grandpa of 4. Brother of Lenore Kromschroeder.

He now resides with our Lord Jesus Christ along with his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Those we loved don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. Keep the memories close to your heart. He will be there.

Visitation will be held at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church; 5214 West Luebbe Lane, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Sunday, March 31, 2019, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM.
