William (Bill) Struve left a message on May 11, 2023:
So sorry for your loss. Uncle Ronnie was quite a guy. He loved this country, fought for it and continued his service as a first responder and in many other ways. I always appreciated the articles he would send about he and Dad, often about the battle ships they were on, etc. Ronnie was a funny guy. Always the life of the party. I remember us all going to dinner at Jim Dandy’s in Noblesville, IN. After ordering and waiting for the food to arrive, much story telling and laughter occurred and of course with his trademark, spoon hanging from his nose display. I think of Uncle Ronnie and nothing but good memories, laughter and smiles come to mind. God got a good one. I love you Uncle Ronnie. Your pain is gone. Enjoy dancing on Heaven’s streets of gold.
