Rose Virginia Bell (nee Pikulik)
Passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021 at the age of 98. Loving mother of Frank II (Jan) Bell and Sharon (Chuck) Averkamp. Proud grandma of Christopher Bell, Brett (Jordan) Bell, Charlie Averkamp, Jason (Veronica) Averkamp, and Ashley (Tyler) Butke. Great grandma of Penelope Bell, Harrison Averkamp, and Georgia Averkamp. Dear sister of Florence (the late Ken) Piontek and the late William (Shirley) Pikulik. Rose will also be missed by other family and friends including furry friends Rusty, Reeko, and Remi.

Preceded in death by her husband Frank.

Rose worked at Allen-Bradley during the war effort (was she really Rose the Riveter?) for 11 years. She was a lover of sports where she was a great basketball player, avid bowler, and was a charter member of the ‘Gambling Grannies’. Rose took great pride in all of her grandchildren’s accomplishments.

A special thank you to the amazing staff at Horizon Hospice for their wonderful care of Rose in the last weeks of her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to The Basilica of Saint Josaphat.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at The Basilica of Saint Josaphat, 2333 South 6th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin at 10:00 AM. Interment in Arlington Park Cemetery.
