Gregg & Family, I am very sorry for your loss. Ruth was my first boss ever. She hired me in 1973 at Larkin Lumber. I was just out of high school. She was a great mentor in teaching me the ropes of working in the office. We had stayed friends all these years. I will always remember her singing and dancing in the office, she was very serious about her work but always added a little fun in the day. I also enjoyed it when Darwin would drop in. He was a real gentleman. Over the years I had visited her at her apartment and sent vacation postcards and Christmas cards. It was always fun visiting, we went over all our Larkin years. I noticed the last few times her memory was not too good, but we still had fun. When I could not get her by phone and it was eventually disconnected I knew something had happened. She was a great lady and I will miss her friendship.

How happy Ruth must be to see her Lord and loved ones, especially Debby. "She is clothed with strength and dignity, she can laugh at the days to come" (Proverbs 31:25}. In Christian Love, Marion Brandau
