Deborah Ann Sobczak

(nee Dubis)  Born into Eternal Life on Thursday, July 19, 2018 after a long battle with MS.  She bravely fought this fight for most of her adult life.  Debbie was born on March 9, 1952 to Edward and Cathy Dubis who preceded her in death.  She was the oldest of four children.  She attended Greendale High School where she developed a love of music, singing and playing guitar.  In 1971 she married the love of her life, Stephen L. Sobczak, who preceded her in death.  While married they traveled worldwide while Steve was in the Army, later settling in Mukwonago, WI.  It is here where they had two daughters and raised their family.

Debbie is survived by her daughters, Sarah (Matt) Eldred and Stephanie (Darryl) Gunderson.  Debbie was a loving grandma to Scarlet and Milo Eldred and Charlene and Louise Gunderson.  She has left behind her three siblings, Denise Dubois, David Dubis, and Karen Schaefer, many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, July 24 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 West Loomis Road, Greendale, WI 53129, from 12:00 PM until time of Mass at 2:00 PM.

Thank you to the Bethel Home staff and Affinity Hospice, in particular Jenny, for their loving care to Debbie and the family.

Debbie was a caring and amazing mother who enjoyed spending time with her family, going on trips to Disney World, and watching her favorite movies.
