(Nee Nagle) Passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at age 71 after a 2 ½ year fight against lung cancer and Sue was a non-smoker.  Loving wife and best friend of John Promersberger.  Devoted mom of Jill (Dan) Weber, Peter (Tito) Promersberger, Lisa (Shane) Schlieve, and Charlie (Pam) Promersberger.  Cherished grandma of Dylan, Cody, Winter, Holly, Joe and Megan.  Dear sister of Brian and Connie.  Sue will be missed by family members and many friends.

 

Sue spent many years working at the family business, Pro-Tel, Inc. Sue so enjoyed her time up north at the cabin in Hayward, WI. Mostly Sue was known for always having an open home and heart and was 2nd mom to many over the years. Her family was her everything and when asked what she would like to do, the response was always the same “whatever the kids are doing”.

 

To honor Sue’s wishes we are having a Celebration of Life not a traditional funeral service. It is less formal, come as you are. Come with some memories and a light mood, and have as good of a time as you can with light appetizers and a beverage from the bar. There is outdoor patio if you feel you need to be distanced. Please join us on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 at Lilac Acres, S47 W23045 Lawnsdale Road, Waukesha WI from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Around 5:30 PM we will have a Celebration Service talking about Sue’s life with a dove and balloon release.

I am so sorry for your loss. As I read the obituary, I can now see why Peter called me mom. We have a lot of similarities. I always knew how much she loved and cherished her family. I’m so sorry she had to go through a long battle with cancer. It’s a horrible, horrible, disease. I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last August. Again, unfortunately, another similarity. I was hoping I could attend the funeral, but I’m getting chemo then. Cherish all the wonderful memories she helped create with you. My love to the family.
