Thomas Gary “Tom” Rogers, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home in Muskego, WI on Friday, January 25 after fighting cancer courageously for three years. Tom was much loved by all and will be greatly missed. He was a kind and loyal man who always wanted the people he loved to be happy.
Tom is survived by his wife of 19 years, Roselle Rogers (nee Gonda); his sons, William Rogers, Joshua Gonda, and Jeffrey Johnson; his daughter, Monchette Gonda; his sisters, Julie (Jim) Esche, Sue (Jim) Hamilton, and Gail (Roger) Brunn; his dog, Bear; and many more dear family members and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Ken and Betty Rogers.
Tom grew up in New Berlin, WI and worked as a manufacturing design engineer. An avid car guy, he enjoyed working on projects in his garage and was skilled at fixing anything mechanical. He spent his last years working on a 1972 Nova he named Snoopy. He also loved fishing, boating, road tripping, motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends.
His family would like to extend a special thank you to relatives and friends who held their hands through this journey as well as to the doctors and staff at the Froedtert Hospital Cancer Center for the loving and compassionate care they provided Tom.
Join his family in celebrating Tom’s life and remembering cherished moments with him at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 National Ave., New Berlin, Wisconsin on Saturday, February 2, 2019. Visitation 1:00 PM – 3:45 PM. Memorial Service at 4:00 PM.
